    Job Description

    The ideal candidate as a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will hold a senior-level position, responsible for providing strategic guidance, technical oversight, and innovation in electrical engineering projects. You will lead the design, planning, and execution of large-scale electrical systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and driving excellence in engineering deliverables.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform equipment sizing & selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables
    • Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities
    • Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders
    • Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements
    • Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule
    • Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature
    • Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring calculations, requisitions, lists, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs

    Qualifications

    • 4-7 years experience
    • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering
    • Professional Engineer licensure preferred
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical engineering principles and practices
    • Advanced proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools
    • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
    • In-depth understanding of power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment
    • Strong knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices
    • Ability to develop and implement electrical engineering standards and guidelines
    • Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal
    • High level of personal integrity
    • Strong relationship capabilities
    • Proficient in both written and spoken English
