Description

As a Sr.

Salesforce Engineer, you would be responsible for creating custom code with the latest versions of Java and JavaScript, as well as utilizing REST APIs in a DevOps environment, operating on SaaS platform (Salesforce).

The main portion of this position would not be responsible to perform declarative programing – this is typically left to the Jr.

Engineers on the team - we are looking for a Sr. Engineer to create customized solutions not offered through the out-of-the-box options provided by the SaaS platform.

Salesforce Developer Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable solutions using Java and JavaScript on our SaaS platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Utilize REST APIs to integrate other application services and enhance platform functionality.
Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to the software development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, and documentation.
A current and active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

Can wave the clearance requirement for a candidate with strong Salesforce experience.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred), with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (9 years without a degree).

Proficiency in Java and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Solid experience working with REST APIs and web services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salesforce training or certification is a plus, but not required.
