    Who You Are

    • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree or eight years of equivalent experience.
    • At least 4 years of relevant work experience, including sales and managerial roles.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of sales strategies and regulations governing insurance and securities sales.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with effective presentation abilities.
    • Capability to recruit, select, train, lead, manage, and oversee a diverse group of producers to achieve business center goals.
    • Experience in establishing and maintaining community relationships.
    • Preferred certifications: Chartered Life Underwriter/Chartered Financial Consultant (CLU/ChFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF).
    • Travel flexibility required, potentially including overnight stays (up to 15%).

    Required licenses and examinations for this role include:

    • State Life/Health and Variable Annuity license for resident state; non-resident state Life/Health and Variable Annuity licensing for all non-resident states where business will be conducted.

    Securities exams and IAR appointment include:

    • Series 7 and 63 or equivalent, 24, 65 and/or 66 as required by applicable state regulations to become an IAR with Principal Securities, Inc.'s RIA.
    • Refer to Principal Financial Network's Licensing/Exam Policy for the allowed timeframe to obtain required licenses, appointments, and pass exams.

    Salary Range InformationTarget salary brackets are indicated below. Non-sales roles can participate in bonus programs, while sales positions qualify for sales incentives, potentially exceeding base salary substantially based on individual performance. Actual compensation will factor in geographical location, work experience, education, licensure needs, and skill level, finalized upon offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $135,300 / yearTime Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) for salaried (exempt) staff offers paid time off for vacation, personal days, or short-term illness, without accrual or preset limits.Pension EligibleYesAdditional Information

    Job Level

    We are willing to consider candidates up to the Senior Managing Director level, based on qualifications and experience.
