    POSITION SUMMARY

    Prescient is seeking Managing Directors to join our rapidly growing firm in each of our four practice areas: Due Diligence, Investigations, Cyber, or Intelligence. Managing Directors are responsible for business development, engagement management and execution, and team leadership, though specific duties will vary by practice area.

    We are open to speaking with candidates who bring a variety of experiences, including with cybersecurity, corporate security, compliance, due diligence, and corporate investigations, as well as military, law enforcement, and intelligence service.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Managing Directors are generally responsible for:

    • Building Prescient's four practice areas by developing new client relationships and generating billable projects.
    • Serving as market-facing experts in their fields of expertise by attending industry conferences, leading seminars and webinars, and participating in other marketing initiatives.
    • Assisting sales operations and marketing teams to prepare proposals, agreements, and marketing collateral.
    • Professionally and effectively managing client projects by communicating deadlines, interfacing with practitioners, and creating strategic roadmaps when necessary.
    • Assisting other Managing Directors and practitioners to scope potential client projects, working outside of normal business hours when needed
    • Training and supervising junior practitioners.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and develop lasting relationships with corporate compliance, legal, and security stakeholders, as well as attorneys and financial services clients.
    • Demonstrated success managing client relationships and identifying cross-sell opportunities in other practice areas.
    • Expertise assisting with client engagements in whichever practice area is relevant to the role, including through project management, investigation, or consulting.
    • Experience working outside of normal business hours to successfully deliver results for clients.
    • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities and success working as part of a team, including through management of junior team members.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Candidates will have years of prior work experience, preferably with another risk management consultancy, security firm, law enforcement agency, intelligence agency, or military branch.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Proficiency in a foreign language (written and reading), especially in Mandarin or Cantonese Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, or Spanish is preferred.
