    Description

    Summary

    As a Human Resources Assistant primarily focused on employee recognition and awards (such as length of service, monetary, time-off, and honorary awards) the incumbent will work within a team environment to successfully manage an Agency-wide awards program. As a member of PMER, the selected candidate will also assist the Performance Management team which will enhance their knowledge of the annual Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) performance management cycle at DCSA.

    Duties

    As a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide administrative and technical support to the Performance Management and Employee Recognition Division within the Human Capital Management Office.
  • Establish and maintain effective and productive interpersonal relationships with customers, peers, and leadership superiors.
  • Plan, administer, and provide technical guidance related to the DCSA Employee Recognition & Awards (such as monetary awards, time-off awards, non-monetary (honorary) awards, Length of Service, Director's Awards Program, Retirement Awards, Length of Service Awards, and other specialty Department level or Intelligence Community awards) area of responsibility.
