Duties:


  • Provide management analysis, assistance, or support for personnel and manpower activities under the authority of the project lead/manager.
  • Oversee the management of manpower data, maintenance of the PEO Table of Distribution Allowance (TDA) or coordination of manpower studies/surveys.
  • Perform qualitative analysis (e.g. studies) to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the program.
  • Initiate personnel actions for recruitment, promotion, reassignment, awards, or other actions.
  • Utilize a wide array of automated personnel, training, and budgetary systems.
  • Prepare a variety of reports or worksheets.

  • Temporary duty travel (TDY) up to 5% of the time required.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance with sensitive compartmental information or access for the duration of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Utilizing automated human resource systems such as AUTONOA, EMPReS and DCPDS to initiate and track personnel actions for recruitment, promotion, awards, realignment actions, etc.; 2) Interpreting personnel regulations and hiring authorities to advise management officials and employees on matters related to hiring strategies, organizational structure, and personnel management; 3) Analyzing data from multiple sources to influence organizational or personnel decisions.

  • This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level or band (GS11/NH02)
    Education:
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
