Duties:
- Monitor the Future Soldier Training Program (FSTP) to detect trends in recruiting practices that tend to increase discharge requests.
- Process waiver request on behalf of Company Commanders and Field Recruiters.
- Serves as the final clerical reviewer for discharges submitted to the Battalion Commander.
- Process military discharge request on behalf of the assigned Battalion.
- Maintain waivers and Future Soldier Training Program (FSTP) data in accordance with established organizational procedures.
- Utilize Army directives to determine suitability of army medical waivers.

- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- This position may require some travel to support the program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) processing actions on behalf of assigned organization; (2) preparing reports regarding personnel actions; (3) analyzing personnel documents to make recommendations and determine eligibility; and (4) reviewing documents to assure they are in accordance with established guidelines. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
