    Description

    Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 200 level Manufacturing company, is looking for a Data Modeler to support an Enterprise Data Architecture team.

    No visa sponsorship is able to be offered at this time.

    This is a hybrid role that will be on site 2-3 days a week in Cleveland. Candidates interested in relocation are encouraged to apply.

    Benefits include competitive salary range of $115K - $140K for qualified candidates, retirement plan, health care, and brand new office building.

    Experience needed:

    • 5+ years of proven experience in Data Modeling (focus on Logical and Conceptual)
    • Highly skilled in ERWIN, Lucidchart, or similar data modeling tools
    • Demonstrated ability to recognize, elicit and/or decompose complex business requirements and perceive patterns and relationships in data
    • Demonstrated ability to design models which integrate data from disparate sources and design data models for complex and ragged hierarchies
    • Understanding of data warehousing and decision support tools and techniques
    • Strong ability to multi-task with several concurrent issues and projects
    • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience advising or mentoring staff regarding data administration, data modeling, and data mapping
    • Experience creating data models for Teradata, SQL Server and Oracle databases

    What you will be doing:

    Work within the Data Architecture Practice to assist with a Digital Transformation. Work closely with Data Stewards, API and Microservice Architects, Business Users / Stakeholders, Product and Dev teams, as well as Enterprise Architects to help capture and create the business requirements in logical Data Models.

    You will be responsible for developing advanced data models associated with the Data Architecture Practice, and will have a large involvement with the Data Architecture for future initiatives. Main job function is gathering and assessing business and technical requirements to create/update Data Models, with API connectivity for upcoming Digital Transformation.
