    Description
    :

    New position, several projects coming down pipeline. Refrigeration company wants to add someone with refrigeration experience to their team that has refrigeration expertise. 2 out of their 7 engineers have refrigeration experience. This position will be a future pipeline candidate for manager in the future.

    Supports customers like Chick-Fil-A/Jimmy Johns as well as K-12 schools


    Working with components that are bought out (don't manufacture their from vendor) but the box itself they put together.

    Start from scratch and start with sheet metal.

    Work and experiment with refrigerator (compressor, )

    Develop new products and deliver a regular cadence of product refreshments to each of the company's product lines. Also develop a concept design and feasibility study for each product refresh (analyzing, understanding design requirements, designing components to meet requirements, and testing the system to validate the design.)

    Drive continuous improvement projects related to the product design and quality of products.

    Performs the design, testing, operation and/or evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems.

    Skills:

    refrigeration, Solidworks, sheet metal

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering required, mechanical engineering preferred

    Master's degree in mechanical engineering and design manufacturing a plus

    Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in refrigeration

    An understanding of refrigeration fundamentals required

    Proof of capacity to manage small to middle-size projects using the appropriate tool required

    Strong knowledge of SolidWorks


    HVAC not a good fit- have home grown tools to select components but the moment you take out the tool they don't know how to proceed.

    This company does not have anything home grown to guide them and show them how to use it.
