    Description

    Vacancy for Mechanical Engineer at Kimley-Horn

    Kimley-Horn is looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer with over 4 years of experience to join their team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an in-office position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assume Project Management roles alongside lead engineer responsibilities
    • Supervise HVAC design projects from inception to completion, maintaining constant communication with design team and clients
    • Create responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for diverse clients and marketing prospects
    • Guide and organize the work of designers and other technical staff on a range of mechanical or multi-discipline projects
    • Independently manage and execute tasks with minimal supervision
    • Exciting chance to collaborate with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of relevant experience
    • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
    • Demonstrated design experience with HVAC systems and related controls
    • Demonstrated design experience with plumbing systems, including water, sewer, and gas
    • Experience in producing engineering and energy studies, including comcheck and Title 24
    • Experience in guiding and organizing the work of EITs, designers, and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team
