- Provide high-quality, efficient, patient-focused care as a Senior Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the ICU Nights under the guidance of a board-certified/eligible physician.
- Clinically manage patients in collaboration with medical colleagues, ensuring comprehensive medical/surgical care following established protocols.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, develop patient management plans, and facilitate continuity of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate and implement personalized care plans that enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in research and educational initiatives to promote professional growth.
- Evaluate patient care quality, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Initiate emergency resuscitation and stabilization measures as needed.
- Three or more years of experience as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Preferred experience in managing critical care patients and ICU settings.
- ICU experience is essential.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- CA Physician Assistant License, National Commission Certification of PAs (NCCPA).
- Current DEA license, ACLS/ALS certification, and eligibility to acquire a Furnishing Number.
