The Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the University Hospital Dresden is the interdisciplinary intensive care unit of the clinics for visceral, thoracic and vascular surgery; orthopedics, trauma and plastic surgery; and neurosurgery. As part of the Center for Surgery, approximately patients with surgical intensive care conditions from all surgical specialties except cardiac surgery are treated here each year.
