    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and oversee the firm's financial operations.

    The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in managing client engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic guidance to our clients.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.


    Responsibilities:


    These include but are not limited to the following:Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.


    Oversee client engagements, including financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.


    Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance on accounting, taxation, and financial matters.

    Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services and collaborating with partners to drive revenue growth.

    Review and approve complex accounting transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

    Lead the firm's budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to partners and senior management.


    Stay current with accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring compliance and best practices for the firm and its clients.

    Assist with business development activities, including networking events, client presentations, and proposal preparation.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation required.

    Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

    Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and taxation laws and regulations.

    Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

    Excellent client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.

    Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.

    Proficiency in accounting software and technology, with experience using QuickBooks, Xero, Advance Flow, and Ultra Tax preferred.
