    We are a multi-channel, site-based experience and entertainment company, with diversified categories and consumer segments. We are seeking a strategic and inspirational Manager, Finance to join our dynamic team.


    The Manager, Finance is a key member of the global finance team and is responsible for leading a team that influences and supports business decisions that help Build-A-Bear achieve its strategic financial objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist in the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements

    Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting activities

    Maintain and enforce company policies

    Lead global monthly financial close process

    Manage and review worked performed by direct reports

    Establish, maintain and document internal and external controls within areas of responsibility

    Participate in the implementation and development of finance/accounting systems

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

    6-8 years experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements

    Skilled in Excel

    Expert financial modeling, analysis and forecasting skills

    Proven leadership ability

    Graduate Degree


    CPA
    8-10 years experience

    3+ years of management experience

    Typical office environment with climate control and sufficient lighting, ergonomic desk/chairs
