    Minimum Professional Qualifications for Lead Teachers:

    • High school diploma or GED required for all teacher positions.
    • Meets all requirements of licensing and regulatory agencies.
    • Accepts and believes in the philosophy and mission of the school.
    • Displays positive interpersonal skills, as well as critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
    • Possesses valid state driver's license and a safe driving record and be willing to drive a van to transport children to and from school.
    • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
    • Passionate about working with children
    • Ability to build rapport with children
    • Positive and patient demeanor
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Must be able to pass the DFPS background check
    • Be free of active tuberculosis

    Responsibilities:

    • Engage children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
    • Create a fun and safe learning environment
    • Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
    • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
    • Maintain the health and safety of all students

    Job Type: Full-time

    Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm

    Salary: $11.00 to $18.00 /hour
