Key Responsibilities

Develops programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse
Has knowledge of stateofthe art programming languages and objectoriented approaches in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent degree from an accredited fouryear college or university OR have at least five years of prior fulltime work experience in one of the predominant languages used in the Information Technology Department Proof of degree required. A transcript or diploma would be acceptable.
Must be able to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality of the same.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced training and/or work experience in Computer Science or related Information Technology work.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
Keen ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs.
Ability to meet schedule and produce quality results.
Knowledge of serviceoriented architecture (SOA) and modern API design (REST).
Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration technologies like JD Edwards orchestrator.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of software security principles and best practices.
