    Job Opportunity: Fleet Maintenance Manager

    Responsibilities:
    MV Transportation is in search of a skilled Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of a fixed route bus system. The Manager will ensure adherence to contractual obligations and prepare various reports on a regular basis. Effective budget management for maintenance programs is a key aspect of this role.

    Qualifications:
    Talent Requirements:

    • Minimum of three (3) years' experience managing transit bus maintenance of similar scope and complexity within the last five (5) years
    • Experience supervising a team of 10+ employees in fleet maintenance
    • Worked with 50+ buses in the past year
    • Previous experience in passenger transportation preferred
    • Ability to manage client relationships
    • Expertise in parts inventory and vendor management
    • Effective prioritization and project management skills
    • Financial acumen in fleet maintenance operations
    • Strong communication skills
    • Proficiency in computer applications
    • Technical knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance
    • ASE or similar certifications desirable
    • Experience with fixed route transit bus maintenance
    • Knowledgeable on audits and PM schedules
    • Experience with Diesel, CNG, and Alternative fuels a plus
    • CDL class B with passenger and airbrake endorsement required

    Starting salary range: $105,000 - $130,000 per year
