- Perform sample analysis using AA, FTIR and ultra violet-visible spectrophotometer.
- Extract and prepare samples for instrumental analysis.
- Log chemical supplies into the department and track expired chemicals / reagents
- Handle reagents, solvents, standards, and related certificates of analysis.
- Maintain chemistry sample shelf.
- Perform sample calculations and write up in laboratory notebook and report results.
- Perform U.S.P. identification and assay test.
- Conduct tests using pH and conductivity meter, TOC analyzer, refractometer, polarimeter, and other similar instruments.
- Learn other test procedures as needed.
- Experience with analytical instruments, MS Office and LIMS software is preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
- Problem solving skills with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- High School diploma or Associates degree, and 1 or more years of experience in analytical chemistry is preferreed.
- Company requires a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- All positions require dedicated team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
