We are looking for reinforcements for our team in Lake San Marcos, CA (m/w/d)
Full-time or part-time (full days or afternoons)
The Lake San Marcos Lung Practice is an expert center for pneumology, allergology, sleep medicine, thoracic oncology, and thoracic surgery.
Our team of 16 provides care, treatment, and support for patients with lung diseases such as asthma, COPD, lung cancer, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and sleep apnea.
What tasks can you expect from us?
You will be responsible for all tasks of a medical assistant (m/w/d). You will support at the reception and in the laboratory and independently conduct lung function tests and other examinations. After thorough training, you will also have the opportunity to further qualify in various areas.
Your tasks in detail:
- Managing all tasks at the reception, such as answering the phone, welcoming patients, and managing appointments
- Creating and preparing prescriptions
- Handling correspondence with other medical practices and patients
- Other administrative tasks such as billing, database maintenance, creating overviews and lists, etc.
- Responsibility for blood draws, vaccinations, and allergy tests
- Taking Xrays
- Preparing and conducting lung function tests and blood gas analyses
- Conducting patient education on asthma and COPD
