    Mercy South de Greeff Hospice House provides exceptional service to individuals and their families at the end of their lives.

    Our nurses provide comfort and support through compassionate care and meaningful interactions. Our coworkers bring high level End-of-Life care to patients of all social backgrounds, adult age groups and social dynamics.

    Working at the Hospice House provides our Mercy Hospice nurses the opportunity to connect and engage with their patients and families in a truly meaningful way.


    The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing skilled professional nursing care to assigned terminally ill patients at the Hospcie House, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with the standards of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.

    Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

    Understands Hospice philosophy; Has excellent observation, good nursing assessment and communication skills.

    Has excellent computer skills with the ability to provide good documentation within an electronic medical record and submits in a timely manner.

    Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation and has ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.

    Preferred Experience:
    Recent hospice or long term care experience preferred. One year general nursing experience preferred.
