The Engineering Co Op will allow the successful candidate to greatly enhance their real-life experiences and learn modern skill sets within the field that they are studying.
It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience on the plant floor in the areas of troubleshooting techniques and engineering design.
The responsibilities of this position may include:
Work with onsite Engineering to assist with several capital projects
Update and modify various drawings, including P&IDs and Process Flow Diagrams
Work with onsite team on optimization projects and engineering studies
Troubleshoot production issues with process systems
Learn how to size process systems and specify equipment such as pumps and valves
Write scope documents and process descriptions
Other engineering tasks as assigned
The requirements of this position include:
The Engineering student should be enrolled in a Bachelor's program and studying Chemical, Biological, or Mechanical engineering
Students with a minimum of one year of major specific classes including fluid dynamics, preferred.
