    Sonalysts, Inc.

    is seeking an intermediate level systems engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills to design, integrate, and test the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS).

    What you will be doing:

    • Coordinating with software development teams on the delivery of new SWFTS capabilities including:
    • Defining and documenting SWFTS software and network interface requirements and design details
    • Tracking software delivery timelines and ensuring all teams are working to a consolidated delivery schedule
    • Scheduling and supporting integration and test events
    • Developing and executing test plans
    • Documenting SWFTS intersystem interfaces using Cameo System Modeler (Magic Draw) Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
    • Work requires full time on site support at a classified lab in Manassas, VA.

    • Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)
    SECRET security clearance* * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree * 3 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or integration and test activities Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience working on SWFTS or other Department of Defense combat systems
    • Experience with UML/SysML and MBSE tools
    • Networking and/or cyber certifications
    • Officer or Enlisted experience on board US submarines
    • Possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check.
