Job Description The Senior Systems Engineer will be a key part of a team that designs, builds, and supports an enterprise Government high value asset system using cutting edge products and tools.

Position is located at a modern, GDIT operated data center facility located in Manassas, VA.

GDIT is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who will be a key part of a team that designs, builds, and supports an enterprise Government high value asset system using cutting edge products and tools.

The position requires a self-driven individual to deliver solutions from development to production.

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of the infrastructure, from engineering, to system operation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have 10 plus years of Engineering experience with:

• Red Hat Linux
• ESXi
• Firewalls
• CISCO
• F5 And some experience and the willingness to learn:
• Red Hat Virtualization
• Red Hat Certificate Service
• Active Directory Administration
• Splunk Engineering
• Ansible
• NetApp Storage Administration
• LDAP
• PKI
• TLS Root Certificate
• Nessus / Security Center
• LogRhythm
• FISMA
• SharePoint
• Technical Writing Must have:
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• 10 plus years of Red Hat Linux Engineering Experience
• Willingness for Periodic On-Call Duty
• Ability to write clear, detailed, and accurate system documentation
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics
• Masters Degree in Cybersecurity Engineering
• CISSP
• RHCE Work Requirements

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
