    **Job Description**

    **AECOM** is actively seeking a creative, highly talented **Senior Engineer** to join our Ohio practice located in either Cleveland or Columbus as a **Project Manager** .

    This position accommodates a hybrid working scenario allowing for a balance between in-office presence for collaboration sessions as well as work from home on a regular schedule.

    We are seeking an individual who extends their strong background in facilities-related engineering to management of the overall project, team, and client relationship. The ideal candidate is a seller-doer who, after building strong relationships with clients and becoming their trusted advisor, can lead an AECOM project team to meet any needs the client may have. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in design quality, project delivery, and has the ability to clearly communicate innovative design thinking and solutions.

    _The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:_

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    + Apply a wealth of engineering expertise, leveraging experience-driven techniques and procedures, to develop and maintain client relationships.

    + Accountable for all phases of project execution including development of AECOMs proposal, preparation of the technical documents, and managing the scope and financial performance of the project.

    + Lead and orchestrate a project team in the design and implementation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems and equipment within building frameworks.

    + Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and proactively assist discipline leaders with staff planning and talent acquisition strategies.

    + Provide senior engineering design leadership and expertise in their discipline of expertise on complex projects.

    + Perform independent technical quality reviews in their discipline of expertise.

    + Actively engage in creating a positive culture of mentorship, collaboration, and teamwork.

    **Qualifications**

    **Minimum Requirements:**

    + Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field

    + 6+ years of industry engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    + Licensed Professional Engineer

    **Preferred Qualifications:**

    + 12+ years of documented experience with advanced design and diverse projects and clients

    + Proven success in leading pursuits and engaging long term clients

    + Strong understanding of Higher Ed, Laboratory, Healthcare, Mission Critical, and/or Federal facility design

    + Active in the external engineering community: presenting at conferences, authoring papers, committee participations, etc.

    + Excellent communication skills: articulate, assertive, and confident

    + Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills

    + Enjoy developing innovative solutions to challenging opportunities

    + Have a high degree of integrity, professional ethics, respect and responsibility

    + Bring energy and enthusiasm to the office

    + Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and eager to grow

    + Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

    + Experience with sustainable design and certification

    + Experience with Design Build and other Alternative Delivery practices

    + Eager to be part of an organization that is built to create a better world

    Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110, $170,
