    TAX ACCOUNTANT
    Pittsburgh, PA

    We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant with a strong background in tax compliance, a keen attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills. Are you currently working long hours during the busy season? Our client prides themselves on work life balance even during the busiest times.

    OVERVIEW OF THE TAX ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

    • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
    • Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary financial information for tax filings.
    • Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
    • Assist in responding to tax authorities' inquiries and audits.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE TAX ACCOUNTANT:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • CPA certification preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in tax accounting.
    • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Excel. Previous experience with MS Dynamics a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
