Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to play a pivotal role in credit file processing, credit limit recommendations, data entry, and reporting in alignment with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Credit Setup and Management:
Engage with customers to acquire credit applications, financial statements, and requisite information.
Process incoming company credit applications efficiently.
Establish new accounts in the ERP system.
Initiate communication with bank and industry references via calls and emails.
Gather information from online searches, trade organizations, credit reporting agencies, and internal resources.
Update customer account details in the ERP system as required.
Conduct regular internal reviews to assess customer creditworthiness.
Proficiency in generating and analyzing customer data reports.
Handle third-party credit information requests promptly.
Digitally scan and file credit-related documentation.

Monitoring and Reporting:
Regularly generate, analyze, and comment on open accounts receivable (A/R) customer performance.
Devise and implement collection strategies and activities.
Approve credit pending authorizations within designated limits.
Seek managerial approval for credit pending authorizations as necessary.
Conduct outbound calls to customers for payment resolution.
Monitor customer payment patterns and performance.
Provide assistance to the legal department in collections, customer communications, and legal filings.
Aid customers in resolving missing invoices/documentation and payment discrepancies.

Other Responsibilities:
Support and implement paperless payment initiatives.
Serve as backup for select corporate and financial functions.
Fulfill other duties and ad hoc reporting assignments as delegated.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the Agricultural industry.
Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing financial statements.
Strong multitasking abilities with a commitment to confidentiality.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Physical Demands:
Regular sitting and computer usage; communication via telephone.
Ability to navigate in an office environment.
Occasional travel within the United States may be required.

Salary:
$50,000 - $80,000/ Yearly

Pay Details:
$50,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
