    Description
    Our client, is a global leader in the structured credit space. The firm is growing fast and is building-out it's internal accounting and finance team with a Sr. Accounting Analyst role.
    Perfect for a former accounting background (1-5 yrs experience) looking to gain robust exposure into private and public investing.

    This is a niche role with the opportunity to learn immensely from an organization rooted in positively impacting its team, community, and philanthropic initiatives.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    A minimum of two years of experience in public or financial accounting
    CPA designation is preferred
    Demonstrates strong independent work ethic and ability to operate with minimal guidance.
    Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
    Adaptable to evolving requirements in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
    Possesses keen attention to detail and excels in effective problem-solving.
    Responsibilities

    Perform financial transaction analysis to ensure proper accounting treatment and identify necessary adjustments.
    Prepare monthly expense allocations based on firm expense methodology, utilizing the firm's allocation system.
    Manage daily communication with external accounting teams, including third-party administrators, auditors, and consultants.
    Reconcile administrator calculations of management and incentive fees in accordance with fund offerings.
    Prepare work papers, schedules, and reconciliations to support financial statements for fund audits.
    Create budgets and analyze expenses for multiple funds.
    Facilitate and reconcile payments for various fund financial statement line items.
    Support the creation and delivery of key operational and financial performance metrics for management oversight and board reporting.
    Execute and document assigned Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls.
