    Join Our Team as an Accounting Manager at Air Treatment Corporation!



    Description:

    Air Treatment Corporation, an expanding 100% Employee-Owned HVAC&R Manufacturer Representative Firm, is in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring the maintenance of accounting systems and standards, and delivering essential financial management reports.



    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Supervisory:
      • Manage the accounting staff handling financial reporting, billing, accounts payable, and payroll.
      • Recruit, hire, and evaluate accounting staff.
      • Coordinate training programs and identify training needs.
    • Accounting:
      • Establish internal controls for accounting transactions.
      • Oversee daily financial operations.
      • Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end closing processes.
      • Monitor accounting data for financial statement preparation.
      • Oversee Sales Tax processes and daily cash management.
      • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
      • Develop and enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with regulations.
      • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.


    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent management, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in accounting, tax prep software, and Microsoft Office Suite.


    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • 3-5+ years of relevant experience required.
    • Experience in HVAC or similar industry highly desired.


    Physical Requirements:

    • Extended periods of desk work and computer usage.
    • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when necessary.

    Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 + bonus
