    SUMMARY:

    We are seeking an individual to analyze documentation and provide accurate estimates for complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and a dedication to delivering precise and competitive proposals.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Review proposal specifications and drawings to define the scope of work
    • Conduct thorough analysis and calculations for accurate estimates
    • Maintain up-to-date records of pricing information
    • Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
    • Assess risk factors and provide feedback to the team
    • Attend meetings and participate in project hand-off processes
    • Explore value engineering options for cost optimization
    • Mentor and train junior staff members

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Undergraduate Degree or relevant technical training/experience
    • 8-10 years of estimating experience
    • Strong mathematical and computer skills
    • Construction field experience is a plus
    • Ability to conceptualize project schedules and cost control techniques
    • Familiarity with estimating software and data interpretation
