    • The Respiratory Care Practitioner III is responsible for providing respiratory care, from assessment to evaluation, within their license scope.
    • Provides clinical leadership, mentorship, and support for professional respiratory practice development.
    • Assists in identifying quality improvement initiatives and leads clinical research initiatives.
    • Acts as the shift 'Charge Therapist', ensuring adequate staffing levels and coverage for patient care areas.
    • Collaborates with the care team in patient assessment, treatment implementation, and evaluation.
    • Conducts patient education on cardiopulmonary diseases and treatment options.
    • Maintains therapy equipment, responds to emergencies, and ensures compliance with standards.


    Licensing/Certification:
    - Current Respiratory Care License (required)
    - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed (required)
    - BLS Basic Life Support (required)
    - ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required)
    - PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required)

    Education:
    - Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care (required)
    - Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred)

    Work Experience:
    - Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional (required)
    - Competency in at least two critical care environments (required)

    Skills:
    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    - Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals
    - Good customer service and organizational skills



    Additional Knowledge:
    - Understanding of various respiratory therapy equipment and procedures
    - Ability to perform therapeutic procedures and patient assessment
    - Knowledge of data interpretation and infection control
