    The Senior Line Lead leads and monitors the progress of projects, ensuring quality standards are met in alignment with continued customer satisfaction. Assisting the Plant Manager/Supervisor, including but not limited to the following duties below:

    This position is for day shift hours with start time at 6am

    Key Responsibilities
    • Review the line instruction sheet for each project and communicate the run rules to their team before starting a project.
    • Before beginning any project verify that equipment is clean and free of defects.
    • Inspect equipment to ensure it meets the specifications for each project.
    • Set up inspection equipment prior to running a project.
    • Verify the labels and quantities of each pallet.
    • Fill out all documentation required for each project.
    • Safety – Ensure all employees are following FlexXray standards.
    • Seed Checks – checking operators frequently and coaching, escalating as needed.
    • Ensuring Seed Checks are completed timely to FlexXray standard.
    • Temperature Monitoring – ensuring temperature monitoring is done consistently and correctly.
    • Housekeeping and Working Conditions – owns the work area, escalates issues, maintains good control of tools/utensils/seeds/etc.
    • Provide appropriate information to the plant leadership before, during, and after each project.
    • Other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.


    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Must have excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to view/watch the monitor and positively identify test seeds during routine seed checks.
    • Must have a sense of urgency.
    • Flexibility to work overtime based on business needs.
    • Must have basic math, reading, and writing skills.

    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to bend, twist, grab, pull, push, reach, walk and sit.
    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
