Summary:


  • The main function of a marketing manager is to lead the research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service.
  • A typical marketing manager is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.

Responsibilities:


  • Advise business and other groups on local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of products and services.
  • Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors.
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities.
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and returnoninvestment and profitloss projections.
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers.

  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.

  • Lead Strategy & GTM Development:
  • Manage Large Scale GTM/Strategic Initiatives from Concept to Launch
  • Lead GTM execution, setting strategic priorities, evolving conflict into consensus and driving flawless day to day execution.
  • This individual is the central point of communication and coordination for new strategic projects, initiatives & programs, internal and external, and is responsible for driving actions across the broader organization.
  • This individual will coordinate with domestic and global partners to advance corporate objectives.
  • Lead Executive Communications
  • Drive Executive Communications for the team through working with Top Management to develop best in class presentation and communication materials
  • Preparing Clevel reports communicating findings in a succinct and visual manner
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance (related to Business) required.


Both a strong background in math, science, finance, engineering, or statistics and deep business insight is required, advanced degrees and/or MBA are a plus.
