    About Pinecone:

    Pinecone is on a mission to build the search and database technology to power AI applications for the next decade and beyond. Our fully managed vector database makes it easy to add vector search to AI applications. Since creating the "vector database" category, demand has grown incredibly fast and it shows in our user base. We are a distributed team with clusters in New York, San Francisco, Tel-Aviv, and Manchester.

    In this role, you will:

    This role is a Manager level role that will report to the Director of Enterprise Sales. The goal of this role is to build and lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives. The role focuses on leadership, development and the execution of Enterprise Sales goals - which is to drive usage within the assigned account base.

    This individual is required to have a high degree of technical knowledge and will partner closely with the SE, CS, Product and Marketing teams. This individual should be a top performing manager with experience at a fast growing infrastructure or ML/AI cloud software company.

    Role and hiring criteria:
    • Candidates MUST come from the infrastructure / data / AI/ML software space.
    • Candidates MUST have a minimum 3+ years experience as a Sales Manager
      • Candidate MUST have managed an Enterprise Account team, closing net new logos AND driving horizontal expansion of new use cases
    • Candidates MUST have aconsistent track record of performance above quota / top of peer group
      • Candidates MUST not be "job hoppers". We want to see consistent performance over a 2-3 year period (min.) at a single company.
    • Candidates MUST have start-up experience
    • It is Preferredthat the candidate has PLG GTM experience
    • It is Preferred that the candidate understands MEDDPPICC
    • Location is remote, but preferred in the central, mountain or western time zone
