    Job Description:
    We are actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role is critical in supporting our pharmacists in medication preparation, management, and compliance for our long-term care residents. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a passion for healthcare.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medication accurately and efficiently.
    • Manage medication inventory, ensuring that all drugs are stored and handled in compliance with state and federal regulations.
    • Process prescriptions electronically and maintain accurate patient records.
    • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and their families to resolve any issues related to prescription orders.
    • Support the pharmacys adherence to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to keep abreast of industry and regulatory changes.

    Shift:

    • Monday - Friday:2:00pm - 11:00pm
    • Rotating every other weekend

    Qualifications:

    • Pharmacy technician experience.
    • FL pharmacy technician license.
