- Assist in recruiting for workforce training and job readiness programs.
- Accepts referrals for assistance in engaging clients in workforce training and job readiness programs.
- Accepts referrals for job placement assistance.
- Completes Camillus Education and Employment Assessment in HMIS for referred clients and walk-in clients.
- Works with candidates to understand their skill set and identify client goals relating to training and/or employment.
- Matches job openings to job candidates.
- Monitors job retention rate.
- Reviews and revises resume to help the candidates find a job; conduct mock interviews.
- Coordinates job interviews and transportation for job candidates.
- Meets in person with local businesses to identify potential job opportunities for clients; establish relationships with businesses identified as appropriate and willing to participate, follow up on a regular basis to ensure that Camillus residents have access to job openings and to check on status of prior placements.
- Works with employers to understand their needs.
- Commitment to the Values and Mission of the Brothers of St. John of God, as witnessed through Camillus House in serving the needs of the underserved populations. Available to work a flexible schedule, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

$40,000.00-$45,000/annual
Qualifications
Education: BA degree in business, social work or psychology preferred, but any combination of academic training and experience may be considered, in particular in employment placement/training programs.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar job role preferred.
Language: Proficiency in oral/written English. Bilingual (i.e., Spanish) preferred; additional languages a plus (i.e., Creole).
Skills: Proficiency in computer (Word, Excel, other data collecting programs).
Requirements
Successful completion of Toxicology test, L2 and local background screening.
Valid FL Driver License with clean driving record.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
