AE Global seeks a well-rounded and experienced prepress specialist to support a dynamic and fast-paced creative team. The current operations include folding cartons, labels, rigid packaging, and flexible packaging and requires an experienced professional to follow and improve the workflows, systems and processes that support a highly regulated and graphically demanding artwork and printing process.

AE Global uses Cloudflow and Packz, a Hybrid Software system for prepress, file organization, and storage. Adobe Creative Suite is used when and where applicable for art creation, transfer, or prep. We work with all packaging mediums: paperboard, corrugate, pouches and other flexible packaging, labels, displays, graphic design and branding, and product and packaging design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing client graphic files for optimum production results
• Responsible for pre-flighting files
• Preparing artwork
• Creating proofs
• Creating or modifying new artwork
• Transferring existing artwork onto new or revised dielines
• Organizing and storing art and structure files
• Preparing, creating, and modifying dielines
• Optimizing files for specific factories or production methods
• Supporting the development of prepress workflows, systems, and equipment
• Help research and integrate graphics software and hardware for new products
• Supporting the development of a detailed and organized file management architecture for highly regulated packaging
• Supporting the development and maintenance of precisely calibrated proofing workflows internally and with external printing converters
• Advising sales, customer service, and clients on best practices for artwork, file management, packaging graphics, and print application

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of Printing/Prepress Industry experience
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, CloudFlow, Packz, ESKO, Adobe Suite
• Experience with Hybrid software ecosystem
• Strong understanding of packaging prepress and print
• Working knowledge of project management software and time-tracking tools
• Experience communicating and working with sales teams, designers (internal or external), project managers, factory teams, and customers
• Experience with printing press proofs and color-accurate proofing or RIPs software
• An aptitude to learn new tools or software
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Ability to articulate clearly and persuasively
• Ability to make logical, fact-driven decisions
• Team player and a great communicator
• Fast-paced and detail-oriented

Bonus Qualifications:

• Prepress software experience
• Experience working with or on press machinery
• Experience with labels, pouches, corrugate, or folding cartons
• Experience working with large brands or specialized industries
• Creative experience
• Experience with quoting and estimating
