Become part of our Hengstenberg family - we are currently looking for reinforcements for our raw material procurement at our Bad Friedrichshall and Fritzlar locations in Prairie City, IL.

What to expect from us:

Together with the Head of Purchasing, you will be responsible for the procurement of raw materials, especially cucumbers and cabbage, for our Bad Friedrichshall and Fritzlar locations.
You will ensure the supply of raw materials to our factories, supported by a small and experienced team at each location.
You will be the competent contact person for our contract farmers and responsible for coordinating the selection of varieties and harvest.
During the season, you will manage the daily quantities of raw materials, which requires close coordination with production managers and other departments.
You will assist with price negotiations, conclude cultivation contracts with farmers, and be responsible for cultivation settlements.

What you bring:

Agricultural/horticultural master's degree and/or successfully completed studies, e.g. in agricultural sciences with a focus on agriculture/gardening or crop production.
