- Generates and develops new business to meet specified production goals.
- Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships.
- Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Works closely with Inside Sales and Branch Management to provide necessary customer information for proper quoting
- Plans and manages sales territory.
- Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to new and existing clients.
- Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of industry product information.
- Continually gathers information on local competition and prevalent industry and business climate within the region; communicates information to management and others as needed.
- Uses the company's CRM to track sales information and maximize opportunities
- Negotiates contracts and work agreements.
- Ensures that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Provides timely and accurate reports as required.
- Attends and participates in business/trade events that impact business unit.
- Attends and participates in team strategic sales meetings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Personal integrity, customer service, sales, and communications ability to provide top-notch client service while increasing sales and profitability for the organization.
- 5+ years of outside sales experience in the same or similar industry preferred
- High School Diploma or College Degree preferred.
- Expert level MS Office Suite and distribution-specific ERP systems skills.
- Ability to pass background check, MVR check, and drug test where required.

Role Overview:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the achievement of the sales and profit objectives for their assigned territory/industry. Works closely with the Branch Manager and the Director of Sales in establishing the territory sales targets to maximize sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Salary Range: $75k - $110k plus 20% incentive opportunity - Salary based on experience.
