- Lead a team at the maintenance facility location in Kansas City, MO.
- Looking for a manager that can fit in quickly, has a positive attitude, and has general aviation experience working on Commercial aircraft Engines (TRENT 700, TRENT 800, PW4000, PW2000, CFM56-3, 5, & 7, CF6-50, CF6-80, CF34, ECT.).
- This position works as an aircraft engine maintenance manager performing and supervising inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial aircraft engines.
- The successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.
- Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft engine maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer's instructions, and company policies.
- Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries.
- Supervise and manage a team of technicians.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Keep a clean and orderly work environment.
- Perform job duties in a safe manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- 5 or more years of aircraft engine maintenance experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations airworthiness requirements.
- Possess adequate tools.
- Successful background check and drug screening
