Store Designer II

Duration: 6+ months contract position with possibility of extension

Location: 501 West 30th Street, New York, NY Hybrid)

Salary - $55/hr on W2

Job responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of retail spaces, including concept creation, space planning and fixture design.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Marketing, and Visual Merchandising, to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
Create 2D and 3D renderings, mood boards, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
Stay uptodate with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative retail design strategies.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail design, preferably in the beauty or luxury industry.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
Strong conceptual thinking and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
A portfolio showcasing your retail design projects and creative abilities.
Job Description: Oversee the design and development of Fixture design/Merchandising displays/Popup shops/Events.
Evolve concepts through design development and prototyping as required for management approvals. Execute design standards for department store counter installations and explore new finishes, details and technologies.
