    Description


    As a result of tremendous growth in our practice, Nichols, Cauley & Associates, LLC is seeking a motivated Client Services Accountant (Bookkeeper) for an opportunity in our Dalton, Georgia office.

    This entry-level position requires a positive individual with excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and a proven track record of delivering high quality work in an efficient and timely manner.

    Job duties include but are not limited to:


    • Process client accounts payable and receivable
    • Post financial transactions to the general ledger
    • Reconcile general ledger accounts
    • Make adjusting entries as appropriate
    • Prepare financial statements and other reports
    • Prepare client payrolls, payroll tax deposits and payroll returns
    • Prepare sales and use and business personal property tax returns
    • Prepare other information returns, i.e. 1099s, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned to support clients or team members

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    • Expertise in MS Word and MS Outlook
    • Working knowledge of MS Excel and Adobe software applications
    • Demonstrated high-level client-service orientation
    • Excellent time management
    • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity, discretion and sensitivity
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
