Crystal Window & Door Systems PA, LLC is an award winning manufacturer of a full production line of quality, energy efficient vinyl and aluminum windows for residential and commercial use.
We are currently looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our fast-paced and innovative team.The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Position summary
- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting in compliance.
- Develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Develop, recommend, and implement Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational goals.
- Provide proper orientation training to new hires on our products, different procedures and policies.
- Design and conduct a training program to meet the company's needs.
- Investigate and resolve questions regarding payment for services by contacting health care professionals and other services providers, benefit plan providers, and employee.
- Verify and complete benefits enrollment forms.
- Maintain files of enrollment forms and other documentation.
- Record employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.
- Update employee files to document personnel actions and provide information for payroll and other purposes.
- Monitor the safety issues and regulation in the factory and make sure the operation follow OSHA regulation. Investigate accidents for insurance carrier.
- Compute wages and record data for use in payroll processing.
- Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interview to determine reason behind separations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience required in Human Resources
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
- Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of FMLA, OSHA, COBRA, federal and state labor laws, compliance
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally in oral and written communications
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
