- Well versed in managing severe maladaptive behaviors (CPI or SKIP proficient is a plus)
- Develop and maintain goals and instructional materials for each client
- Organize monthly team meetings
- Organize, coordinate and create content for quarterly in-person staff training
- Organize and coordinate monthly case conferences
- Individualized training as needed on ABA skills (ex. prompting, error correction, taking data, types of TA's)
- Initial staff setup when hired: review of their client (ex. programs. demographics, goals, progress, behavior plans, etc.)
- Initial training that is including video models of how to "run" a program for each specific individual client, including following a behavior plan and ABA tactics.
- Conducting individual trainings on catalyst: how to take data, how to write thorough soap notes
- Review IEP, diagnostic/neuropsych reports, parent interview, school/home observation if necessary, preferred client schedules, matching with appropriate staff
- Intakes of new clients (find out details, hours they want, etc.)
- Conduct performance feedback reviews (i.e. 90 day, 6-month & annual) for all therapists
- Reviewing and providing feedback to other BCBA's and on their programming
- Meeting with other BCBA's once a month to review client's progress and ensure appropriate goals and behavior plans are in place.

Village Learning Solutions - ABA (Powered by The Village Life Center) provides 1 to 1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services in Plaquemine, LA and surrounding areas. We are looking for a BCBA to provide Center-Based Services. We offer: assessments, skill acquisition training, social skills training, behavior management, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), implementing behavior plans, community training, pre-vocational training, parent training and ongoing staff training and supervision.
Our mission is to work with each child and his or her family members to create the best possible outcome for everyone We are looking for a caring, passionate, and dedicated professional BCBA to oversee client programing, thorough staff training, supervision and parent collaboration/training.
Job Responsibilities:
-Staff training –
-Following up with staff to ensure that they are completing their notes and notes are completed thoroughly.
-Be the liaison between staff and parents/school when schedule changes, make up needs to be scheduled, ensure everyone was informed.
-Parent communication – monthly check in with parents, reviewing goals (current and future goals), any concerns about client (new behaviors, skills not generalizing at home, etc.) and concerns with staff, or schedule changes, etc.
-Parent training and carryover/generalization.
-Client intakes:
