- Assist in the management of day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and external audit.
- Partner with manager on and own monthly/quarterly management financial and metric reporting and monthly variance analysis.
- Develop internal policies, processes and procedures that are appropriately tailored to be effective and efficient. This role will drive process improvement and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations.
- Perform month, quarter and year end closing process.
- Partner with the accounting leadership to construct month end close cycle process to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and manage journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the general ledger month-end process.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 3+ years of public accounting or private industry experience required.
- Solid technical knowledge of US GAAP.
- Solid understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset processes.
- Experience in preparation of external financial statements and related footnotes.
- High level of competence with Excel and good working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
- Flexible and adaptable personality with the ability to multitask and a keen attention to detail.
- Possesses strong analytical and communications skills,
- Demonstrated team player with a can-do attitude who takes a collaborative approach, strives for excellence, and acts with integrity.
