AUM BioTechis hiring a purpose-driven and self-motivated individual for the position of Scientific Sales Representative with experience in sales of biomedical research products.
IMPORTANT NOTE:At this time, we are in the build and growth phase of the company and are looking for go-getters who align with the mission of the company i.e. to serve the biomedical research community and do whatever it takes to help them advance scientific discoveries and therapy development for cancer, CNS, and other genetic diseases. This is a very intense job and requires a certain level of perseverance, discipline, and commitment. You must be willing to take up challenges and deliver. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct sales of products offered by AUM BioTech.
Identify new leads and grow business with both existing and new customers.
Participate in conferences and exhibit products.
Contact potential customers via phone, e-mail, or in person.
Schedule, coordinate, and present technical sales presentations for clients.
Maintain existing business (customer relationship) and develop incremental business in existing accounts.
Preparation of quotes/invoices for customers.
Respond to customer enquiries and/or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicate key competitive activities, trends, and changing customer development plansand priorities, which include emerging customers.
Conduct customer-specific promotions to encourage sales growth and the development of a positive company position.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to work in a startup environment.
Experience in direct sales.
Sales experience in university and biotech setting.
Professional level experience with Salesforce CRM.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Project management skills.
Self-motivated and independent.
Well-developed presentation skills.
Organizational and time management skills.
Professional presentation.
Self-management.
Educational Requirements:
BS or MS degree in a science discipline (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Genetics or related field) with relevant sales experience. Ph.D. degree is encouraged.
