- Expediting and updating purchase orders by using our opened purchase order report.
- Mailing confirming purchase orders, checking, updating, and filing the open and closed purchase orders.
- Maintaining and updating the vendor files.
- Typing, mailing and faxing request for quotation forms and completing spreadsheets.
- Logging in purchase requisitions.
- Contacting vendors on short shipments and returning rejected materials.
- Performing data entry.
- Purchasing materials as required.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
- Other responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONSExperience/Background/Education
- 2 years' experience in a purchasing, customer service or Office Manager role
- Must have working knowledge of personal computers.

- Must be able to move about in an office and production areas, as needed Education
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
