- Expediting and updating purchase orders by using our opened purchase order report.
- Mailing confirming purchase orders, checking, updating, and filing the open and closed purchase orders.
- Maintaining and updating the vendor files.
- Typing, mailing and faxing request for quotation forms and completing spreadsheets.
- Logging in purchase requisitions.
- Contacting vendors on short shipments and returning rejected materials.
- Performing data entry.
- Purchasing materials as required.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- 2 years' experience in a purchasing, customer service or Office Manager role
- Must have working knowledge of personal computers.
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a U.S. person or protected individual within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines U.S. persons and protected individuals as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), U.S. Temporary Resident, Political Asylee or Refugee.
