    Description

    Are you an expert in leading Mechanical Product Development projects as a hands-on Engineer in the oil and gas industry?     Key Responsibilities:

    • The Lead Design Engineer/Project Manager plays a key role in driving short-term and long-term business objectives.
    • Carry out analysis/assessment of assigned projects in line with business standards, practices, and project requirements.
    • Offer technical guidance to team members working on projects; serve as a mentor within the organization.
    • Record technical data relevant to assigned projects.
    • Keep track of project status, business concerns, and noteworthy updates.
    • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in project reviews.
    • Provide support for Technical Sales activities.
    • Contribute to enhancing departmental metrics and processes.
    • Oversee projects closely aligned with customer design specifications.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Minimum 8 years of experience in an engineering field.
    • Proficiency in project management.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
    • Effectively manage and meet customer expectations across teams.
    • Demonstrate leadership in articulating business objectives and processes.
    • Promote teamwork within your department and across different areas.
    • Problem-solving experience and skills.
    • Ability to set and achieve goals for yourself and your team.
    • 3+ years of experience in upstream oil and gas products.
    • Knowledge of composites and resin systems.
    • Proficiency in CAD and Solid Works.
    • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a background in various functions.
    • Technical expertise, including the use of relevant engineering tools.
    • Support Continuous Improvement efforts and actively engage in Lean initiatives.
    • Understanding of Six Sigma tools to drive data-based decisions.
    • Perform any other assigned duties.

    Education Requirements:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
