    Description

    PrideStaff Financial on behalf of a client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in this role. Please apply today

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Finance Department to create/maintain and review financial records.
    • Manage Company Monthly financial statement close work completed in accordance with the closing schedule.
    • Manage any and all audits on behalf of the company
    • Generate financial reports
    • Take the lead in the coordination of the accounts payable month closing process, handling
    • accounting issues and answering accounting questions for Business office personnel.
    • Reviewing, documenting, and resolving variances in monthly preliminary Financial Statements prior to distribution.
    • Distributes any company-issued notices
    • Preparing various audit schedules as requested.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in an accounting-related field
    • 5+ Years of Experience in Accounting.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Possesses superior analytical skills
    • Proficiency in accounting software and bookkeeping programs such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Suites
    Must be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen
