    Job DescriptionAn outsourced infrastructure service company that handles all of the wiring for telecommunication industries is looking for a strong Senior Accountant to join their team in Fort Lauderdale This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and
    procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

    This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting and finance activities including but
    not limited to, primary interface with auditors, research GAAP issues and assure compliance, treasury,
    and mergers & acquisitions support.

    What You'll Be Doing:
    • Oversee the operations of the accounting department
    • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
    • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close, including monthly Finance and Operations report.
    • Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
    • Work with the Accounting Staff and External Auditors to ensure a clean and timely year end audit
    • Review and enhance existing procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department, from daily billing, payroll, fleet, insurance, etc.
    • Assure internal controls are functioning effectively

    What You Bring to the Table:
    • 3-5 Years of Accounting Experience
    • Sales Tax and Payroll Tax Knowledge
    • Ability to prepare accurate financial statements
